Despite the name, our horse

(RC, a palomino quarterhorse)

 is of average size.

(and the winery is still at the application stage).

We also have a llama, named Milo, a pygmy goat, 3 dogs, and 3 cats.
Milo is a hoot.  Acts like a big cat, very snooty.

We are an experimental vineyard, growing at 3200 feet elevation in the Blue Ridge mountains of Ashe County North Carolina.

The name derives from our location on Little Horse Creek,
a tributary on the headwaters of the New River.

grapesWe specialize in cold-hardy wine grapes.

We have dormant cuttings available now.

Caution - some varieties sell out quickly, but I cannot predict which ones those will be, so if you anticipate needing a particular variety order now.

I do not substitute unless you authorize an alternate.
